A battery-powered rear light is also included, as are the batteries. The box is produced in Belgium, the special carrier is made in Italy and the rear light and lock come from France. Assembly 1. After having removed the original carrier (if your bicycle had one), screw the lower part of the carrier on the bicycle’s frame. Do not use to much pressure (a tightening torque of 0.5 kg-m is enough). You should have something like this. Assembly 2. Fix the lug and handle on the box, using the two holes. Do not forget to use the two washers. Put them directly beneath the screw head. This is what the entire assembly with closed box looks like. Everything is made of stainless steel for maximum durability. Assembly 3. Now fix the two linkages to the bicycle as indicated on the picture. The linkage has four holes in it for adapting the length. Choose the type of linkage that is most suitable when positioning the box. Assembly 4. Fix the linkages to the carrier with the bolts and self-tapping screws. Assembly 5. Put the back light on the carrier. Assembly 6. Fix the box on the carrier with the hinges aimed at the back. Use the four big bolts and self-tapping screws. If necessary, adjust the linkages, allowing 2 cm of space between the saddle and the box. Do not forget to use the washers. You are now ready to set off. The entire assembly takes about 10 tot 20 minutes. Removing the box only takes three minutes.
